Photographs taken on a visit to the new sixth form college being constructed in Sprules Road, Telegraph Hill, London SE4.

The “chimneys” contain light wells and ventilation, temperature and humidity control systems.

In this picture are two members of the Brockley Central Schools Old Scholars Association.The Brockley Central Schoolswere on this site from 1928 to 1939 when they were evacuated to Kent. The school buildings, reused variously as Samuel Pepys, Hatcham Woods and Telegraph Hill Schools remained until demolished to make way for the Academy in 2003.
